Preventive Measures by Traffic Authorities

As 100,000 is quite a big number for road traffic violations in just one-quarter of the year; Traffic and Patrols Directorate have planned some measures to shrink the rate of traffic violations in Abu Dhabi. Many new fines are brought into contention for numerous traffic violations and this is one part of the efforts that authorities are making to reduce the number of violations. On the other hand, traffic police have strengthened their monitoring process by installing more air traffic control devices. Furthermore, traffic police is targeting young drivers to make them aware of the hazards of over speeding, sudden lane changing and overtaking.
