The Middle East Car of the Year Awards event was recently held at the Raffles Hotel in Dubai. The final list of winners was arrived at by putting together the scores from a jury consisting of representatives from 12 different publications in the Middle East.
There were different categories for the different cars released in the year, with the top accolades being the 2015 Middle East Car of the Year and the Consumer Car of the Year. The former prize went to the Ford Mustang whereas the latter was awarded to the Kia Sorento.

Best Executive Coupe: BMW 4-Series Coupe
Best Compact Executive Performance: Mercedes-AMG CLA 45
Best Midsize Executive Sedan: Infiniti Q70
Best Large Luxury Sedan: Bentley Mulsanne Speed
Best Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV): Nissan Juke
Best Compact SUV: Honda CR-V
Best Compact Premium SUV: Lexus NX 200t
Best Large SUV: Chevrolet Tahoe
Best Premium Performance SUV: Range Rover Sport SVR
Best Truck: GMC Sierra
Best Performance Hatchback: Ford Focus ST
Best Sports Coupe: Ford Mustang
Best Premium Sports Coupe: Audi TT
Best Premium Performance Coupe: Mercedes-AMG GT-S
Best Grand Tourer: Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe
Best Supercar: Ferrari 488 GTB
