For over years, Ford cars have been so popular in the car buying and selling business. Recent report in the last five years indicate that the company’s SUVs have done well in the car dealership venture with the increase in the number of automotive export all over the world. The company has produced a 2016 Ford Explorer, which has a significant change from the 2011 model, but not a complete redesign since some features left untampered with.
What’s new in the 2016 Ford Explorer:
It has changes like new front and rear styling, a top-sec trim level and some new equipment though the most significant modification is the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine fitted in it which replaces the 2.0 liter engine of the predecessor models.
The platinum version of the ford has a twin-turbocharged, 365-hp EcoBoost V-6 engine. All the versions of this Explorer have the following features on them: blind-spot warning, hands-free power lift gate, washers for the 180 degree front and rear cameras and additional functionality for available automatic parking system. The spacious interior of the car has real wood, matte aluminum and glossy plastic featuring prominently. Redesigned door panels have a more comfortable armrest and the dash trim is nicer. Ford has also carved out more knee room in the second row due to the slimmer front seats.
The Ford Flex is the lesser sleek SUV a sister to the Ford Explorer, the estimate car price of the Explorer is around AED 200,000 which is more expensive than the Flex. The 2016 changes and modifications keep the Ford’s SUV doing exceptionally good on the market, maintaining its position as one of the popular and most profitable models of the carmakers.
