When a car enthusiast receives reports about a release of a new Lamborghini, he/she immediately gets thinking which kind of maximum speed the new super car can attain in the shortest time frame. The 2016 Lambo Aventador is not any different from the crazy acceleration these race-like cars are famous for worldwide. It’s set to compete with the Bugatti Veyron that is currently having the highest car-rating in terms of speed.
New features of 2016 Lamborghini Aventador
The Aventador has one the most powerful V-12 and it leverages optimized variable valve timing, a new exhaust system and a high redline to raise output to 740 horsepower at 8400 rpm. Torque remains at the same level as in the non-SV Aventador which is 509 Ib-ft at 5500 rpm. This super car comes 110 pounds lighter courtesy of the composite rear fenders and rockers panels. It has a manually adjustable carbon-fiber wing and fixed C-pillar aero scoops in place of the electronically actuated wing and scoops in Aventador. The modification of the 2016 model include: the fitment of lightweight new wheels, lateral strut-type magnetic shocks and variable-ratio steering that reduces lock-to-lock motion particularly with the drive systems in the most aggressive mode which is called Corsa. There is also the sport that is predictable on how the car behaves in that mode.
The sound from the speed merchant is carefully engineered to let in the harmonics of the engine but not the less-desirable transmission chatter. The explosive acceleration of the Lambo earn respect for it while on track raising the car valuation among other cars that try to battle it in speed and its exceptionally good in negotiating bends on road.
Price of 2016 Lamborghini Aventador
As the case with most sport cars, lower mass means better performance however, lower mass also means more money. We are yet to identify price of the Aventador which is estimated at AED around 185000 though the official release date is not yet known.
