The Dubai International Motor Show 2013 at World Trade Center had been opened to the public last November 5, 2013 with over a hundred new presentations, 15 concept cars and many distinctive models. Added to the attraction is the display of the five of the fastest, biggest and most affluent and most luxurious automobiles.

The motor show had been considered as the region’s biggest and most significant automobile event where the world’s top automotive manufacturers, potential buyers, hobbyists and international media were gathered. You don’t have to do a car search no more as all the best exotic cars are lined up here on display for your eyes to feast!

It is a must-see occasion for anyone who will be entertained in seeing the fastest, biggest, most expensive and most luxurious cars. As David Golder, the General Manager of a US based tuning company called the Hennessey expressed that “to have the fastest car in the world is an ego-thing.” Speed is the word of the mouth at the motor show.

Here are the five of the fastest cars in the world that are on display during the Dubai International Show:

1. The Venom GT

This model sets the Hypercar World Record driving at a speed of 0-200 mph run within 14.51 seconds. Reduced in weight and simplified to the acceptable limit, the Venom GT‘s design is intended to be the fastest car in the world. David Golder and his team are certain to set the world record for the fastest car in December with a top speed of 448 kmph. The group will be doing the drive at a naval air station in Leemore US with confidence that they will be able to achieve the top speed there.

Aside from the car’s smart look as a commercial item, the chief purpose of its design is speed with only 29 samples produced as further explained by Mr. Golder. You can go to the Venom GT’s official website and do a Car Search on its specs and features in order to get the full details.

2. Devel Sixteen

Bearing the logo “Made in Dubai”, this model is described as a horrific apparatus with 16 cylinders, 5,000 horsepower, and 7,500 rpm. This automobile has an expected top speed of 560 km/h, which would surpass recent and projected world records.

As explained by Mohammad Al Attar, one of the brothers heading the Defining Extreme Vehicles Car Industry, “this is going to be the fastest car in the world. I am sure there is nothing like this so far.”  The only main problem of this type is there are no available tires to handle the top speed. But even if tires are found, the challenge will be reserved for only the exclusive few as only the said company will enable driving at the top speed.

3. Bugatti’s Meo Constantini

This blue-colored vehicle which captured the hearts of onlookers on the first day of the Motor Show is named Meo Constantini, the 8-litre W16 engine that achieves an unparalleled torque of 1,500 Nm from 1,200 hp at 3,000–5,000 rpm, and can accelerate from 0–100km in 2.6 seconds. Bugatti still remains to be the king of speed which has not only been maker of fastest car in the world per se, but also reached a speed of 408.84 km/h with the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse roof down in April 2013, making it the fastest production roadster ever built. According to Manuela Höhne, Head of Media Relations at Bugatti, “the UAE is a great market for Bugatti. Maybe a quarter of our sales are in the Middle East, and about half of these sales go to the UAE”. There will only be three cars of this type to be produced and to be sold for $2.82 million each. Bugatti gets hundreds of millions of searches in search engines each month as a lot of users that are mesmerized by it often do a car search, particularly the Veyron Supersport for holding several world records.

4. McLaren P1

This type is named as the race car on the road. It reaches 100 kmph within 2.8 seconds and needs 30.2 meters to be brought to a full stop. McLaren’s Chief Test Driver Chris Goodwin said that, “Driving the McLaren P1 would be the closest one could get to drive a Formula 1 car on the road. Once you have driven the McLaren P1 you will see why this ultimate supercar cannot be compared to anything you have ever driven.”

McLaren P1 is undoubtedly described as the most exhilarating, most capable, most technologically advanced and most vigorously accomplished supercar ever.

5. Aston Martin’s CC100 Speedster

This design integrates the past as well as the future of Aston Martin. This was based on the model that was driven in 24 hours Le Mans race of 2007 and won by Aston Martin Racing. This has been produced in celebration of its 100 year anniversary.

With its exceptional sample, the company tries to uphold its restoration service. Owners of an Aston Martin have the privilege to refurbish their old model with variations according to their preferences. Take for example the presence of air conditioner at the back of the car which was not originally there.

If you’ll do a Car Search on Aston Martin you’ll find out that most of its car models have been used in movies such as 007 James Bond and Johnny English.

Practically, guests and audience of the said show have been offered a glimpse into the future of the specific manufacturer with ideas seen at the viewpoint of BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Lincoln, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and Zenvo. There is also a presentation of releases of 76 regional and 17 international manufacturers.
