The 50th-anniversary edition of this car got unveiled by the company recently and is all set for a launch in September this year. On September 26, 1996 Chevrolet launched its very first Camaro and for millions of people it proved to be a love at first sight. Distinctive Looks of Iconic Camaro 2017
This 50th-anniversary edition of Chevrolet Camaro will come to the market with all the updated features keeping the class of Camaro alive. With distinctive looks and improved performance, the inside and outside of this legendary car will surely be alluring. Offered in a slick nightfall gray metallic paint, this muscular Camaro will be highlighted with long orange stripes along the hood and satin chrome trims all over its grille. The most extraordinary feature to boost the exterior looks of the car is the logo of “Fifty” on front fenders that will advertise the 50th birthday of this pony car. 2017 Chevy Camaro will be offered in Two Trim levels
This car will be available in two trim levels 2LT and 2SS respectively. Both the trim levels will have distinctive characteristic but will not be massively different from each other.
The 2LT Trim
This trim level will feature 2.0 liter V4 engine that pumps out the horsepower of 275 and 295 of torque. This model will also be available with 3.6 – liter six-cylinder engine to produce the horsepower of 335 plus 284 torque. 2LT model also comprises of RS appearance package that includes LED taillights, HID headlights and a trunk-mounted spoiler.
The 2SS Trim
The 2SS version of this car will be powered with 6.2 liter- eight-cylinder engine capable of producing 455 horsepower and a torque of 616. Orange black calipers on all four corners will be present in 2SS model while the 2LT models will come with only front brake calipers. However, both versions will feature six- speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic transmission.
Price and Release Date
Chevrolet is all set to launch its 50th anniversary Camaro in coming September and it will be available for sale at the end of this year. The exact pricing details of this car are not yet publicized however, it’s expected that the 2LT model will start from $30,795 and 2SS form $42,295.
