The Kartdrome circuit in Dubaiembracedthe “Dubai KartdromEndurance” championship for 2014 on February, 21 – 2014. The “Dubai Kartdrom 12 hours” race is an indication of the tournamentbeginning on board of “Mini” cars where it is expected that “CG racing” team will continue its domination in the popular kart racing series at the area level. Once again, “AGMC Mini” supports this series of races where Natalia Norikova who is the director of public relations and marketing said: “there is no doubt that the motor racing is a favorite sport for ‘Mini’ cars where this car is small but it was and still achieving great victories. 50 years ago, ‘Mini Cooper S’ car won in the Monte Carlo Rally for the first time and continued its domination during the following years”.
Also,Norikova added: “till this day, ‘Mini’ car is symbolizing the excitement of kart racing. Therefore, it is natural to be a partner inthe series of endurance races for the third year in a row where ‘Mini’ car is always seeking to support the great local talents and provide a special platform to develop their abilities in the field of karting”. In the last year, “CG racing” team was able to achieve all the championship titles where it managed to win the “Pro Category”, “Corporate Category” and the “Nations Cup”. There are some remarks came from the team’s headquarters in Dubai that the team would try again to nail the three titles this year and it will make a great effort to block its rivals’plans. However, the championswere facing one of the strongest endurance racing championship which evolves year after year where the race track includes 30 teams and about 120 driverswho compete very hard on the Kartdrome circuit in Dubai, and many of them will compete for the grand prize of this championsgip at the end of the “12-hour race” which will be held in the end of this season.
The team “Batelco” returns this year to participate in this competition with a strong desire to achieve the victory where it won several tournaments before but it did not participate in this series of races last year in addition to the “Sky Dive Dubai Falcon Racing” team which was the biggest competitor for the “CG racing” team during this series in the last year.
