Nowadays, most people are interested in downloading songs to listen to while driving their cars rather than interest in learning about the auto parts and how they work. This generation that grew up with the technology want a car to use and they do not care to know any of the mechanisms details in the car, and this is unlike the previous generations but even they probably do not know how to open the hood manually and they only search for custom button for opening and closing.
The control systems in the cars have become more complex car and there are only few people that have the skills required to repair these systems which are becoming increasingly sophisticated. It was very easy to buy a used car and then repair it in order to use it but now, this requires some professional skills to manage these modern cars. Perhaps the technical developments serve as an excuse for people that do not know the mechanism of their cars; however, many people are totally unaware of any details or even general information regarding their car.
Many people are using a poor quality fuel for their cars even though it causes disruptions in the car’s engine where 54% of them believe that price is the most important factor when choosing fuels. About 89% of women and 79% of men in this generation do not understand a lot about the tires of their cars where they do not examine pressure of their cars’ tires on a monthly basis and do not know anything about the air pressure and so on in addition that they are rarely read the brochure of their cars compared with the previous generations.
Most of the cars repair shops said that transparency is the key for building a loyalty base among customers who belong to this generation where they should not be given many information when they are not experts in the car because they will confused if any repair shop told them that they have to fix the transmission system or the cooling system because they simply do not know anything about these parts.
Finally, we can say that these issues happened due to the advanced technology and fast life which grew with this generation where we do not expect to see someone crawls under the car to repair it compared to the previous generation.
