There are no doubt that manufacturing safer cars and the imposition of more stringent laws regarding the use of seat belt or driving under the influence of alcohol may have contributed to a reduction in the traffic deaths by about 25 percent from 2005 to 2009 according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration “NHTSA”. The institution said that the number of drivers who own modern cars that do not exceed 3 years old and who were exposed to deadly frontal crashes has dropped by 55 percent since 2011.
