Mitsubishi is recalling nearly 166,000 units assorted into models of Lancer, Lancer Evolution, Lancer Sportback, Outlander and Outlander Sport spanning production years from 2008 to 2011. This has seen those who determine car value give the brands a relatively low car rating.
The recall is due to the wearing of the engine pulley that runs the drive belt. When the former is worn, the latter can slip resulting in faulty working of the alternator, power steering and the cooling fan. The engine may also stall thus broadening the chance of accidents occurring.
Putting your pre-owned cars is one solution that can shield you from getting into these situations.
