The British manufacturers have finally produced the final version of the super luxury jaguar XE to be reviewed and unveiled to the public on the car market. The car has been released after a several number of its prototypes being released for public opinion. This compact car is expected to compete with the likes of the BMW 3-series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4. Apparently, it’s the smallest car offering from the British brand in car history.
Key features of the Jaguar XE 2016/2017
The 4-door sedan weighs between 1474kg and 1500kg. The XE is offered two engines – a 2.0litre 4-cylinder turbocharged motor and a 3.0-litre V6 supercharged unit. The turbo charged engine is offered two different versions and all models get the 8-speed automatic transmission. The jaguar has the following standard features that include: power steering, power windows, power mirrors, central locking, dual-zone air conditioning system, smart system with keyless start and 8-inch display screen. It has additional features like 6 speakers, cloth seats, paddle shifters and 17-inch alloy wheels with a simple modern car interior. There some improvements and additional features in the higher option model which come at a slightly higher car price that include: leather and ventilated seats, sunroof, xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control, head-up display, body kit and 18-19 inch rims. This car has safety features like All Surface Progress Control, Torque Vectoring by Braking, dynamic stability control, lane departure warning , closing vehicle sensing, autonomous emergency braking , driver and passenger front and side airbags.
