The new prices for petrol and diesel have been declared by the Ministry of Energy in the UAE. A constant increase in the petrol and diesel prices has been observed in the UAE for last three months. The trend continues as the fuel prices for the month of July also get increased from the last month. The most significant rise in the price has been made to the price of diesel for July 2016.
Petrol and Diesel Prices for July 2016
The prices for different types of petrol have been slightly increased from the last month. The Price of the Special RON Petrol has been increased from Dhs1.75/Litre to Dhs1.77/Litre. The Super RON 98 will now cost Dhs1.88/Litre and will observe an increase of Dhs0.02/Litre from the last month. The E-Plus RON 91 will be available at Dhs1.70/Litre. It was sold at Dhs1.68/Litre last month.
The most significant rise has been observed in the price of diesel. The price of the Diesel has been increased from Dhs1.77/Litre to Dhs1.85/Litre. It marks an increase of Dhs 0.08/Litre. The transport companies will receive a hike in their fuel expenses with a considerable increase made to the price of Diesel. The sale of the fuel-friendly cars is expected to increase in the UAE car market with the rise the rise in fuel prices.

Fuel Prices Increase for the Fourth Month in a Row
The Ministry of Energy in the UAE announced the end of the subsidized prices for diesel and petrol in July 2015 which meant that the prices in the coming months will increase. The petrol and diesel prices have been increased for the fourth month in a row. Not only the UAE but many other Gulf Countries have also announced the liberalization plans in terms of the retail prices of the Petrol and Diesel in their own markets. Going by this liberalization, the prices for petrol and diesel get announced on the 28th of every month and they become valid from the 1st day of the next month.
