A recent study has revealed that most recent road accidents in Sharjah occurred due to lack of distance between cars. According to Sharjah Police, there are already advanced radars present in the city which work well to record multiple traffic violations but lack capacity to track distance between cars efficiently. This has pushed traffic authorities in Sharjah to bring new radars in city and punish the drivers responsible for not keeping safe distance between cars.
Official Statement on New Sharjah Radars
A top Sharjah Police official told about new radars in Sharjah and shed light on the importance of these radars to monitor a specific violation. According to the official, the recent increase in instances of cars colliding into each other due to lack of distance has urged traffic police to call for new and advanced radars. Most of these accidents were recorded in rough weather conditions. The main problem with cars not keeping safe distance is that any sudden change in road condition and a speed change induced by it can lead to crashing of multiple vehicles into each other.
