Recently, a convertible version was revealed at the Paris Motor Show this year, and since then, this limited edition convertible has been sold out. Ferrari created only 499 units, all of which are already sold out. 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta at First Glance
At the first glance, the 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta looks very similar to the Ferrari LaFerrari coupe. With its sharp curves and aerodynamic lines, big wheels and smooth dip down nose, it demonstrates excellence in every bit of its design and built. As per convertible rules, the roof of the hyper car is foldable, plus the roof will be made from two different materials. The new roof material will be either a detachable fabric roof or a hard top roof made from carbon fiber. Engine, Power and Speed
As promised, this new convertible has a similar performance and technical specification as the coupe. This means we have a V12 6.3 liter engine with a synchronous electric motor which also has a 2.2-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
It has a horsepower of 950 HP at a torque of 664 lb-ft of torque. Together, this produces some serious heat that you will love. It is sure to be a thrilling ride that you will not forget anytime soon, should you get the chance to drive it.
It has a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode and dual clutch. What is thrilling about this amazing convertible is that it can go from 0 to 60 in just 2.5 seconds, 0 to 100 under 4.8 seconds, 0 to 130 in 7.5 seconds and 0 to 150 in 9.8 seconds. With a top speed of 217 mph, this car will fly off the highway and on the city roads.
Dimensions and Weight
The dimensions and the weight of the new 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta convertible is expected to be the same as the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta coupe. If we are to take that as a confirmation by Ferrari, the curb weight of this car is 3489 lb, its width is 78.4 inches, height is 43.9 inches, wheelbase is 104.3 inches and length is 185.1 inches.

Fuel Efficiency
Since this is a hyper car, you cannot expect it to have a marvelous fuel efficiency. Much like other hyper cars, its fuel efficiency is not that impressive. It has a fuel efficiency of 12 mpg in the city and 16 mpg on the highway. But if you have a car as fast as this, would you really care about fuel efficiency?

Although, all of its 499 units were sold out even before the Paris Motor show. It is said that if Ferrari produces more units, it is expected that the price of this limited edition convertible will be between $1.5 million and $1.7 million.
