Buying a car in Dubai can be difficult at times, people living in Dubai for many years seen and heard both ends of the spectrum.  From 4 by 4 to saloon many people owns 4 by 4 because they have a good high driving position and are safe. Camping can be a great treat in the desert but some low points includes being big, difficult to park , use tons of petrol and high driving position means you have to be very careful while crossing the school lane or a park.

If you have a bit of cash and looking for a regular car you should go for a luxurious car. Having a cheap petrol rates and even insurance rates are not so high, the Ford Mustang or the little two seated Mercedes or a Corvette the list is endless. When buying a car in Dubai it Is very important to consider the reputation of the car company, it will affect the resale value of the car. Some European and Korean cars are available in the Dubai Market which is cheap but their company reputation is not as good, these cars depreciate fast.

The Major Companies such as Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Ford, and Porsche are reputable and they tend to hold value very well. So the question begins which car make and model one should buy new car or a used car? The answer is totally up to you. Cars in Dubai are often sold by Model year so this is a factor in the value of a used car.

And in case you go for a used car be careful for buying the car imported from abroad, investigate have they been stolen , are they the right specification for our roads , or can the dealer maintain it. Unless you are an expert go for a car which was originally sold by the original manufacturer in Dubai, so that you know it is the correct specification and has not been stolen.

Lastly deciding to go for a private or dealer, take a look at the certified used cars from the big dealers they give guarantee and generally keeps reminding you for the warranty, and if you go for other dealers make sure you check the car personally. And finally if you are going for the private dealers this is the safest and the cheapest option but make sure to be very careful and take along a Car savvy person with you. Understanding all the factors mentioned will help one buying a car in Dubai.
