Toyota is the largest cars company in the world. At the beginning of this year, the company introducedits innovative car which is “Toyota FCV” where this car works with hydrogen and this event was in the International Exhibition of electronics in Las Vegas, U.S. The Japanese carmaker “Toyota” says that it will launch its new car “Toyota FCV” in the U.S. market in 2015 at a reasonable price but the price is notspecific yet. The car will be able to walk for adistance of 300 miles (483 km) before needing to refuel again and the refilling process of fuel will not take more than 3 to 5 minutes.
The car model “Toyota FCV” that was displayed at CES exhibition exposed toextensive tests on the road in North America for more than a year and Toyota says that the car works by the hydrogencells that do not produce any carbon emissions and its exhaust produces the water vapor only and entirely devoid of emissions that pollute the air. Bob Carter, Vice President of Sales at Toyota said: “we have made a good car with a reasonable price and we are now in the process of building the infrastructure of convenient stations to provide vehicles withthe hydrogen fuel”. He added that this car that works byhydrogen cells will be launched in 2015 initially in the state of California. This is because the “Golden State” will provide more than 200 million dollars to finance the construction of about 20 new stations by 2015, a total of 40 stations by 2016 and will reach 100 stations by the year of 2024.
Toyota Company says that it has braced for a long time to develop a new generation of cars and dramatically reduced the cost of building the fuel cells for power generation since 2002 when it began to test and develop the prototypes. Toyota Company seeks to cut costs of 95 percent in the reservoirs of generating the power and fuel for the car which will be launched in 2015. Moreover, the size and weight of the FCV car has dropped dramatically with a 100kw engine that provides 134 hp. Also, there is another feature in the FCV car where the car will be able to provide enough energy to run a house for a week in case of emergency.
