The Saudi HalafAl-Jouaanwas able to achieve the second place with his car which is “Nissan Patrol” with a time and of 42 minutes and 51 seconds in the first round of the Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla solorace which held in the club of UAE motorplex. This competition witnessed a great and hardchallenge among the participants with the presence of many lovers for these dunesraces in United Arab Emirates which is the best place to setup these kinds of races.
The competitions and challenges of this hard event continued for three stages where these stages were amounted to a total distance of 126 kilometers and the starting point ofthis race was from the “Off Road” circuit atEmirates motorplexclubto the sandy areas that have the most beautiful sandy terrains whichadded to the race a bit of a challenge and fun for the participants in the solo race in addition to the huge crowd that came over to watch the race. The results of this race were calculated through a sophisticated and precise timing system in order to save the rights and effort for each participant where this system is specialized to calculate the time that each participant took to pass the race.
The results of the race were very interesting where in the SUV cars category, Nabil Al Shamsiwon the first place in his “Nissan Patrol” car where he was able to achieve the best time in the race with 37 minutes and 5 seconds while the Saudi Halaf Al-Jouaanwas able to achieve the second place, and the Emirati Ali Matarwas able to achieve the third place in this race.
In the “UTV” category,the racer Mohammed Gelzarwon the first place by achieving the best time in the race with 35 minutes and 59 seconds while in the motorcycles category, the contestant Rashid Abdullah won the first place by achieving the best time with 33 minutes and 43 seconds while the second place went to the racer Ibrahim Abdullah by achieving a time of 39 minutes and 28 seconds in the race and the racer Amar Saeed was able to achieve the third place with a time of 52 minutes and 7 seconds. These racers were crowned by Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Muallawho is the president of Emirates motorplexclub.
