The British luxury cars company which is Bentley smashed its previous world record for sales by selling over 10,120 cars around the world last year which represents an increase of 19 percent compared to 2012. Wolfgang Schreiber, Chairman of the Directors’ Board in Bentley Company said: “the year of 2013 is our fourth year in a row that we achieve a doubling of increases in sales which makes us the most wanted and popular luxury car brand in the world”. He added: “we still continue to get new customers and we are confident that 2014 will be another successful year for Bentley Company”.
Despite the fact that sales of the Middle East is prompting the company to achieve such great rates in sales but the American market is still the largest market for Bentley company where it has many regular customers in this area. The sales increased in North America, Central America and South America by about 28 percent with about 3,140 cars. The Bentley showrooms are available in many places around the world such as the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
The Middle East market has proved that it is the fastest growing market for Bentley Company last year where the company’s sales increased in this market by 45 percent with up to 1,185 new cars. The region of Southeast Asia which includes China that became the largest new cars market around the world has achieved the same amazing results with respect to the rates growth where the sales rose by 26 percent with up to 452 new cars. In Japan, Bentley Company sold about 291 new cars which represent an increase of about 53 percent compared to last year. The Europe’s economy crisis did not stop at the moment in the face of Bentley’s success where Bentley’s sales have risen in the European market by 11 percent with about 1,480 new cars. In the UK which is the home of the brand, the company’s sales rose by 25 percent with 1,381 new cars.
Bentley Company is trying to expand its dealers’ networks around the world which was a key factor in its success in achieving this huge growth and the company has opened several new showrooms in new markets last year where the total number of the company’s agents is about 193 agents around the world.
