BMW Middle East group achieved the better sales at all in 2013 with the sale of 24,596 BMW and MINI cars in 12 countries in the Middle East with increase of sales by 15 % compared with the last year record “2012” which amounted to sales of 21314 cars. The company said that this standard year is the third in a row in terms of sales which showing its position as the most successful manufacturer of luxury cars in the world and a leader in the category of high quality cars on a global level and in the Middle East.
The company mentioned that the total number of cars that were sold throughout the year is 24,596 and this is the largest number of BMW and MINI cars sold in the Middle East at all, and all GCC markets witnessed sales record and growth beyond the 10 percent. UAE achieved the most sales of BMW and Mini companies in the region by 46% and the Abu Dhabi market was the bestseller where it reported a growth rate of 15% while Dubai saw an increase in sales by 10%.
The Managing Director of the BMW group in the Middle East, Yoerg Breuer said that the sales of 2013 show the effectiveness of the strategy that based on the customer. Launching new cars and investments done by the exclusive agents in customer service contributed in enhance the customer satisfaction.
He added that the BMW fifth category car, the world leader in the category of sedan cars was the bestseller in 2013 with the sale of 5,729 cars including an increase of 10 percent compared with 2012 while the BMW seventh category car remained the favorite car and is still without a doubt the leader in the luxury sedan class cars thanks to the stunning design and comfort provided by innovative technology and specifications where the company sold 4,815 cars including an increase of 16 percent compared with the 2012 and its sales have improved with the number of some special copies of the BMW seventh category which included some unique specifications that increase the luxurious beauty and driving pleasure sheer offered by this BMW car.
The best sales of BMW cars included some other models such as the sport activities X5 car where the company sold 3,624 cars and the BMW third category where the company sold 2,659 units plus the BMW Coupe X6 where the company sold 2,464 units.
