Successfully concluded a march of classic cars with four-wheel drive system and the sedan cars as well which is organized by the United Arab Emirates Motorplex club at UmmAl-Quwainwith the presence and participation of Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of Emirates Motorplex club in addition to the participation of a large number of classic carsowners in the United Arab Emirates. And participated in the march which was held for the sixth consecutive year a large number of classic cars which their productionreturns to the fifties and sixties of the last century and these cars were led by a galaxy of heritage and history lovers.
This march is taking place every year at the same period to revive the heritage of ancestors and learn about the ancient sandy roads and hardships they have suffered from while driving in those sandy roads. The classic cars march started fromFalaj Al Mualla in Umm Al Quwain at ten in the morning with the participation of more than fifty cars and the march headed across the sandy roads to the area of the valley then to thewshaahvalley in Alzeed and then TawyHamdawhere they stopped the march there to take a break and check their cars technically, and they took a quick look on the water well in Al Hamda area that the convoys were stopping at itin ancient times to take some water and break from the trouble and hardship of traveling. After this stopping period, the march tended to the Felle Valley in Sharjah where this point was the celebration place and gathering point for the march. In this place, the four-wheel drive cars met with the saloon cars that came from the Falaj Al Muallaarea.
The organizing committee for the march with the help of the workteam provided all the resources and facilities necessary to provide a means of comfort to the participants in the march through the good organization of the march. At Felle Valley in Sharjah, Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla and the participants in the event toured the halls of the historical Felle Valley and this Vally is one of the historical and archaeological sites in the Emirate of Sharjah, and then the band of UmmAl-Quwain introduced some nice performances. The event’s organizers established a group lunch for the participants and at the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikh Marwan Bin Rashid Al Mualla introduced commemorative shields to Mr. Salem Obaid bin Mayaleh who is the municipal administrator, engineer Saeed Bin Ashour who is theDirector of Sharjah Club for old cars, Mohammed Ali Rashid Al Ghafliwho is the president of the organizing committee for the march, members of the organizing committee and Rashid Abdullah Mahaan. The certificates were presented to all the participants in the march.
