There was a controversy case about the schedule of world championship for Formula 1 race at the end of last year after that Bernie Ecclestone, the official man of commercial rights for this tournament denied issuing any preliminary version and distributing iton the participated teams where some officials from North America said that New Jersey’s offer to host one of the races still exists. Bernie Ecclestoneinformed Reuters at Monza circuit after the experiences of Italia’s raceand before the beginning of the next racethat the race schedule for this year did not issue yet and he doesnot know who has a copy of it where he confirmed that there is no preliminary version.
However, the team leaders said that they had received the initial version of this race schedule which includes 21 races which is a record numberand it does not contain anything about the New Jersey’s race. The list includes the Mexico Race that returns to the list for the first time since 1992. It was supposed that the schedule includes the Port Imperialcircuit which is a street circuit located behind the Manhattan Towers in New York where this will be the first time for this circuit in the schedule this season but it was postponed to 2014 because some financial problems.
Setting up the race in New Jersey is not a sure thing despite the Ecclestone’s quest to launch this race as soon as possible. The British Ecclestone who is 82 years old said something to the American CNN news where he said that New Jersey is not on the table next year due to the non-possession of the local organizers for the needed funds required to launch this huge race. At the same time, Ecclestone told Reuters that he did not rule out the race from the list and it will be held if the organizers committed to the contract. Nick Crowe who is the committee chairman for auto racing in the United States told Reuters that the absence of New Jersey race from any schedule is not a final decision. Also, he added: “The race schedule which was distributed on the teams in Monza is just a preliminary version and he mentioned that this schedule includes a larger number of races as possible and it does not include some of the races that can be set up”.
