Bridgestone Middle East and Africa Company, the formal framework for the Dubai International Motor Show 2013 introduced the latest technologies and innovations of the concept of free air tires, tires with half the weight, and tire technology “Ologic”. It revealed these new three concepts and designs for the first time in the region at the Pavilion, “Bridgestone” in Hall 2 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, during their participation in the exhibition.
During the official press conference, Shoichi Sakuma, President of the Bridgestone Middle East and Africa Company said: Group is committed to work to ensure a healthy environment for the present generation and the future, and this means that we seek gradually to adapt our technology and develop new products in order to reach towards society more secure and sustainable. Innovative concepts for these three frames that we offer today offers a new standard in terms of the suitability of the environment, safety and comfort, and is considered a sign of Bridgestone commitment word and deed.
Featuring Bridgestone tires free of air “Bridgestone Airless tire” as eco-friendly tires do not need compressed air, and require less maintenance without any worry of getting holes in them. It has been designed to support and frame parts along the inner sides so that the driver will not suffer from the tire cycle of the air anymore. Moreover, the frame structure components are designed from thermal plastic so it can be recycled 100%, along with the rubber surface of the outer frame.
The Bridgestone tires are characterized by technology, “Ologic” as a narrower diameter larger than conventional tires, and help to improve the efficiency of fuel use while driving, and at the same time contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. Featuring the higher air pressure tire, and is designed based on the latest technologies and components that contribute to access to much lower levels of resistance to friction tires , while maintaining the much higher levels of cohesion on wet floors. It has been conceived of this new category of tires specifically for electric and hybrid cars in an attempt to support the trend toward automakers to produce more environmentally friendly vehicles.
The wing also presents Red Bull car Chevrolet Camaro equipped with Potenza tires , which is the same car used by the driver Abdu Feghali to enter the Guinness Book through breaking the Guinness world record for the longest skid car in the world in March. It is worth mentioning that the “Bridgestone” will also be one of the main sponsors for the finals of the competition Red Bull Car Park Drift.
The visitors of the “Bridgestone” wing at the Dubai International Motor Show will enjoy the experience of Bridgestone 4D Theatre, where they can experience the performance of Bridgestone tires in the leadership of a virtual trip. Visitors will see the three-dimensional film during a special sitting in chairs and moving, to feel as if they were in a real car fitted with tires “Bridgestone”.
