Update: Dubai Police has denied the news of taking Dh400 fee for inspecting accident site.

A resolution passed by the Dubai police authorities declared that Police will now charge for 14 different services in case of an accident.
Services to be charged by Dubai Police
There are multiple services which were mentioned in the resolution issued by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Crown Prince of Dubai as well as the Chairman of Dubai Executive Council. The basic purpose of passing this resolution and bringing new charges into contention is to further make the motorists responsible for their acts. It is to make them more careful about the way they drive and to make them realize importance of playing their part in reducing fatalities occurring due to road accidents.
The charges for multiple services as mentioned by Dubai Police in the new resolution are listed below:
- Dh400 for inspection of an accident site
- Dh100 to remove your car from road
- Dh500 to move the car from one place to another in Emirates
- Dh1,000 for the transport of heavy trucks
- Dh2,000 for transport of Cranes and Containers
- Dh200 to remove a heavy truck from road
- Dh100 to keep a heavy truck in areas of vehicle seizure
- Dh100 for issuing replacement for report of the traffic accident
- Dh150 for issuing Traffic Certificate
- Dh100 for Issuance of Night Work Permit
- Dh50 for Lost Certificates
- Dh75 to issue a Whom-it-may-concern certificate
