- Having mobile phone in the hand in traffic is fined AED 200.
- Private vehicles using dedicated bus and taxi lanes in Dubai are fined AED 600 while obscene hand gestures towards other drivers leads to being arrested for a month.
- Not abiding by taxi drivers uniform or not keeping it in good condition, calling passengers in the presence of signs, not carrying a driver’s license while driving, not carrying a vehicle registration card while driving, driving without spectacles or contact lenses and not using interior light in buses at night are all fined AED 100.
