Hyundai Elantra achieved the highest sales during the last period through the Jumaa Al Majid Company which is the exclusive dealer of Hyundai in the UAE. This came in the sales report of the institution this month to announce the sale of the Elantra model in last November with a growth rate of 90% compared with last year for the same period.
This came following a marketing campaign launched by Hyundai UAE recently that showed unexpected results where the number of the Elantra car units sold by the company was 43% of the total sales of Hyundai cars in the same month. The marketing department of this marketing campaign was based on this campaign to offer cash discounts on Elantra car so the starting price of the car started from 49,900 AED.
In a statement from the Director of Marketing at Hyundai UAE, Khaldoun Abdel Hafez where he said: “Hyundai Elantra speaks for its huge success with its bold design and fuel economy. We make our best efforts to provide the best services ever by providing amazing deals for Hyundai cars that exceeds the expectations of our customers”.
Based on the success of the campaign and the high demands on the Hyundai agencies, Abdel Hafez said: “We extended the marketing campaign for the end of December in response to the desire of our customers despite that the number of remaining units is limited compared to the number of our registered bookings until now”.
The Hyundai Elantra is extremely popular among the general consumers in the UAE where it is the third most -selling car among Hyundai cars and because of its attractive shape and generous space. It depends on specific criteria which include innovation, design, safety, performance and technology which made the Hyundai Elantra tops the headlines of the media by obtaining the title of the best car in North America during the Detroit International Motor Show exhibition in 2012. This was during the annual evaluation held by a committee composed of a group of 50 journalists from independent experts and specialists in the world of cars from North America and Canada. The evaluation included a study of more than 50 new cars launched in 2011 where the commission has examined the specifications and studied all the participating cars separately.
It is worth mentioning that the Elantra car is equipped with 1.6 liters engine that provides 130 hp plus the other model which is equipped with 1.8 liters four-cylinder engine that provides 150 hp. Thanks to the clean technology and advanced engine, the Elantra is classified as a fuel economy car according to the fuel consumption standards conducted by the specialized agencies on the principles and criteria of the environmental protection agency.
