British automaker Jaguar is renowned for rolling off its line cars that are iconic especially in a sphere that relates to speed married to luxury and comfort. It is for this reason that when the Jaguar XK was released for sale to the public back in 2006, this second generation model received a fairly high car rating.
Of recent however, the automaker thinks differently about the model and has already initiated plans of entirely halting production for the XK. However much one might be attached to the model though, the vehicle sale side of things is not all roses and peaches for the British automobile manufacturer. Automotive purchase by the public is not going as was intended when the XK was rolled off the line to replace the famed Jaguar XK-E with only 54,000 units leaving the dealerships for the 8 years that the car has been on the market.
With the manufacturer itself giving up on the model, it would make sense for one to dabble in the used car market to get a sizeable amount of money for their Jaguar XK while they still can since the value of the said car is circling the drain.
