“Bentley” and “BMW” for the automotive industry introduce two models for unique designs especially in the Gulf region during the opening of the 12th session of the Dubai International Motor Show 2013.
Bentley unveiled the competent British luxury car during its participation at the Dubai International Motor Show 2013 for a model dedicated to the Arab Gulf States named “Shaheen”.
The company chose the name “Shaheen” which is a type of hawk, given the importance of the symbolism carried by these birds in the Gulf region.
The car “Shaheen” belongs to “Mulsanne” family of Bentley luxury cars, inspired by the design of the exterior and interior colors of birds, peregrine falcon as mounted gray color while the interior is of painted Alhanti.
The chief sales at Bentley, Trevor Jay, for “Sky News Arabia” said: “We chose the allocation of car “Shaheen” of the bay because of the importance of this market for our company where the UAE is the largest market for Bentley in the region.”
With the advantages of luxury car provided, including Tablet PC comes out of the rear seats are always connected to a mobile Internet network with the car.
“Mulsanne Shaheen” engine has 512 horsepower and eight-cylinder engine provider and a maximum speed of 296 kilometers per hour.

The “BMW” German company introduced through its participation in the Dubai International Motor Show, the hybrid model cars “i8” of its cars equipped with twin front working with electricity, and rear-fueled.
General Manager of sales at “BMW”, Mamdouh Khairallah said for “Sky News Arabic” that the car engines working together enhances the work of each other especially when the need for high speeds.
He explained that the fact that the car relies on electricity does not mean they need to be dedicated to the patisserie equipment shipped but can be supplied with electricity via the normal household equipment, note that the speed of the electric motor alone does not exceed 35 kilometers per hour.
Khairallah said that a car “BMW Aye 8” will reach the Middle East markets in the first quarter of next year.
He said that the final price of the car is not determined yet but it will be between 700 and 800 thousand AED (Between 190 thousand and 217 thousand dollars).
