There are several car manufacturing brands in this world that are making enormous amount of money through automotive sale. Moreover, there are some companies that are limited to establishing a strong market in a specific country. Speaking specifically about the automobile industry of the United Arab Emirates, it has been seen that many car manufacturers are trying their luck in the Dubai auto market. Here, where there are local brands, there are several world level brands that are highly sold and purchased by the car dealers and customers. Here, in this particular article, we will be discussing about the BMW. So, let’s begin the tour.
BMW, an acronym for Bavarian Motor Works is a German engine, automobile and motorcycle manufacturing brand that was founded on March 7, 1916. Franz Josef Popp was the founder of the Company. The headquarters of the Company are based in Munich, Germany. Till date, it has brought forth three different brands namely BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce. All three of these have marked their supremacy in the world of automobile industry. Right from the time of its establishment till date, the brand has manufactured several motorbikes and cars that have different types of specifications and features. It is just due to the hard work and dedication of the company officials that the company has kept up to meet the expectations of the customers out there.
In today’s world, beholding a BMW car is said to be a trademark and status symbol in itself. People have a conception that the parties that behold a BMW in their car collection are the richest personals of the society. Well, this perception is true as well because due to the high prices of BMW vehicles, not everybody can afford to buy one such vehicle. Since its evolution, the company has done lots of alterations in its range of workers. Out of all the updates, the recent one that is being heard is that the Company has appointed a new President for its branch in Spartanburg. The name of the person is Manfred Erlacher. He has served the Company as the Managing Director of BMW’s plant in Leipzig, Germany since January 2009. Before him, the President of the Spartanburg branch was Josef Kerscher, who was holding the position since 2007.
Now, as Erlacher is replacing Kerscher, Kerscher will now become the Managing Director of BMW’s plant in Dingolfing, Germany. Earlier to this replacement, the Wolfgang Stadler was holding that post in the Dingolfing branch. It is being said that the alterations are being made because Dingolfing is leaving the Company because he is about to join Jaguar Land Rover’s board of directors. Prior to the switching, Erlacher has overseen an expansion of the Leipzig plant. His main intention doing this is that he wants to build new i8 plug-in hybrid and BMW i3 electric car in that plant. In his initiative to do so, he will be succeeded by Milan Nedeljkovic, head of assembly at Leipzig.
Let’s see what influence this alteration will have on improving the automotive sale!
