Maserati Quattroporte was launched in Malaysia

The all new luxurious sixth generation Maserati Quattro Porte has made its debut in Malaysia with a spectacular event held by NAZA Italia Sdn Bhd. Mr. Gaetano G Marino, Regional Director South East Asia & Pacific, Maserati Asia Pacific along with Yg. Bhg. Datuk Maruan Mohd Said, Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategic Investment Division, NAZA World and En. Wan Ahmad, General Manager, NAZA Italia Sdn Bhd were appeared in the event.

In the event Datuk Wira SM Faisal made a short speech and told that, “NAZA Italia always ensures customers satisfaction and make sure that they will receive best customer service to match the fabulous performance, technology, and cleverness of their cars,” adding that huge response acknowledged by NAZA Italia since its nomination as Maserati importer and supplier in 2009, prompted the company’s decision to start the flagship showroom and state-of-the-art sales, service & spare parts center in Malaysian car market to better serve the Maserati car owners. He also said, “Maserati is a very distinctive brand, outfitted to the niche and we are very confident of the sales of the Quattro Porte, as proven by our customers’ acceptance of the various Maserati models over the years”. He is very delightful about the sales of the Quattro Porte and with the bookings even prior to the official car launch.

According to the NAZA Italia, V6 and V8 are the only units available in Malaysian car market and both of them direct injected and turbocharged. The V6 model is known as the Maserati Quattro Porte S. With its 3.0 liter twin-turbo, V6 makes 410 hp at 5,500 rpm and 550 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 5,000 rpm, boosting it to 100 km/h from rest in 5.1 seconds and onwards to a 285 km/h top speed which costs nearly RM 898,800 excluding tax and insurance. And the V8 model is known as the Maserati Quattro Porte GTS. This one’s powered by a 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 530 hp at 6,500 rpm and 650 Nm of twist from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm (710 Nm from 2,250 to 3,500 rpm in over boost). The century sprint is done in 4.7 seconds and top speed is a heady 307 km/h. And the car price is RM 1,138,800.

There are so many noticeable alterations between the V6 and the V8. Which includes the exhaust tips, V6 come with oval exhaust tips where V8 has trapezoidal, V6 comes with slightly smaller brake discs than V8. V6 have 245/45 R19 front and 275/49 R19 rear wheels and V8 have 245/40 R20 front, 285/35 R20 rear wheels.

The all new Quattro Porte is also embedded with many features and luxury than ever before.
