To overcome these issues, Sharjah Police has introduced new tracking system that includes radars and cameras along roadsides. Through this electronic system, traffic police will be able to monitor the movements of trucks and keep in limit the load they are carrying. Following this move, the trucks parked at prohibited sites on the road will also be easily identified and fined. The authorities are also planning to build more designated parking areas for the trucks to curb the problem of parking of trucks in public areas.

Will the Situation Improve?
The government and traffic authorities are devising best strategies for the safety of the truck drivers and others.
