When the German car manufacturer brought into the market a sports utility vehicle, there was a major impact and the company made reasonable returns on investment. The Cayenne has however faced some setbacks in the form of the recalls made by the parent company so as to figure out how to fix a potential fire hazard in the cabin.

A spokesperson from the company relayed through a statement that the problem that required attention resulted due to a spring in the brake which chafed on the electrical cables thus exposing the lead and increasing the chance of a fire occurring.
