The Evoque was released in 2011, the evoque manages to maintain an Elegant range rover combine it beautifully with a compact body. Range Rover Special edition wears bold color, this compact sport vehicle (SUV) has slender lamps, windows and sit a top four large wheels under a coupe like sloped roof making it look like an automotive Super Model.
It is not easy to write about this very pretty car. In the Special Edition model of Land Rover, Victoria Beckham was charged with input on the design. The interior is stupendous, especially with the red leather. The seats are super-comfortable, the dash is of leather, the centre console is smartly arranged; it feels much like a Holly Wood.
The under-shield looks near bullet-proof and most surprisingly of all, it’s actually quite economical. Its 2.0 liter engine will apparently manage 8.7 liters per 100 km on the motorway.
There are several variants of the Evoque available in Dubai market, with the “minimalist” as Land Rover refers to it, starting from AED 199,000 and the “Dynamic Plus” topping the list at AED 260,000. All cars are fitted with a 2.0 liter turbo-charged straight-4 engine which emits 240 horses and does 0-100kp/h in 7.6 seconds. There are plenty of exciting features, from park assist to satellite navigation.
It somehow manages to blend High Street fashion with noble off-road credentials, and comes out looking beautiful all the same. When you look at what even the basic, “minimalist” Pure model comes with, AED 199,000 doesn’t seem all that bad. But, there’s always a “but”, with the exception of the Pure it costs the same as an LR4, and even a BMW X5. It’s much smaller, but prettier, but if you want more space then you just can’t justify buying an Evoque. It has been received positively by the automotive press for retaining the features, amenities, and off-road capabilities of a traditional Range Rover in a smaller package.
The Range Rover Evoque is surely one of the most stylish cars you can buy, but its appeal stretches further than just the looks, in fact the Evoque was a groundbreaking premium SUV when it launched. The way the Evoque looks is the most striking thing about it. It’s being great off road and featuring a luxurious interior, but it’s also pretty economical and easy to drive around town thanks to the smaller dimensions. The Range Rover Evoque has been a massive success for Land Rover.
