The Buick Lucerne has not escaped the wrath of the scourge that is the ignition switch fault that has wormed its way into a sizeable number of the models that have been released of recent by the General Motors LLC.
This fault has led to GM spending more time bringing in already sold cars than sending out newly made ones. When an ignition key is knocked out of position, it leads to the loss of engine power, power steering and power braking thus highly increasing the chances of getting – scratch that – causing an accident.
In the event that one is involved in said accident, the air bags may not deploy as expected due to the key having shifted some notable features required for this as it was moving out of position. There is surely no way you would still want to have the Lucerne as yours.
