If one is to mention the biggest companies in the car history that have sold a number of cars worldwide for over years, Scion maybe left out. Companies like Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Ford may top up the list. However, Scion is slowly but steadily picking up in the automotive export business. The company sold 893 of the coupes in March and 1464 during the same month last year. The Scion and its Subaru BRZ twin were both named on the 10Best Cars list in the year 2013 with high car sales in that year. The company decided to use the same model with a few adjustments for 2015 with the goal of making more sales, and now the brand has once again played with the same car for 2016 model.
The FR-S’s originally all-black interior has now new silver-colored trim on the dashboard, steering wheel, doors, and center console, as well as a new and newly standard 7.0-inch touch-screen display. It was also modified with a backup camera in addition to two new exterior colors which are Ablaze Red and Oceanic Blue. These new high tech features distinguish it from the original and previous versions of the same car.
The 2016 FR-S has a car price estimate that starts at AED 95776 with the standard six-speed manual and an addition of AED 4040 for the six-speed paddle-shifted automatic transmission. The company scrapped plans for an FR-S convertible and a speedier turbocharged model. Buyers can look for the improved FR-S in car dealership shops immediately after its announced officially out and available for purchase.
