Prior to its beginning, the American players of the automotive aftermarket are gathering up in order to gain a lion’s share in the tuning and customization market in the Middle East.

By the end of Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, the escalating and the increase of global interest in the Middle East and especially GCC were confirmed.

SEMA is considered as the world’s premier automotive specialty products trade event as often described as the ultimate car candy factory.

For the second consecutive year, the Middle East Motor Tuning Show took part in the SEMA Show and recorded higher number of footfall to its booth and received a lot of enquiries from American and other international manufacturers about the next edition of the region’s tuning and customization show.

Al Midfa told the audience, which included the who’s who of the international auto aftermarket industry: “The UAE has one of the highest vehicle ownership rates in the world” luxury vehicle sales, a direct market driver for the tuning and customization industry, is also set to erase the record sales achieved in 2008.”
