There is a revolution sweeping the world of modern cars’ engines where this revolution became increasingly advanced and sophisticated day after day. The experts of “WardsAuto” magazine included a list of the best cars’ engines for 2014 which included the full wheels driving system and the two wheels driving system. These engines vary in terms of their characteristics where some of these cars are provided by a turbo charger or working with diesel. All of these cars have the latest technologies to enhance their capabilities and fuel’s consumption. These cars are in the following list:
1) Audi S5: engine provided by a turbo charger with 3.0-liter capacity in addition to the direct fuel injection system and this engine consists of 6 valves and overhead camshaft.
Audi has maintained its position in the ten best engines award in 2014 for the fifth time in a row with an engine has 333 horsepower which is provided in the medium -sized “S5” class.
2) BMW 535D: turbo diesel engine with capacity of 3.0-liter and has an overhead camshaft.
3) Ram 1500 EcoDiesel: turbo diesel engine with a capacity of 3.0 liters and 6 valves in addition to the overhead camshaft.
This is the first truck for the light usage that provides an engine running on diesel and this engine is available in the Jeep Grand Cherokee car with a four-wheel driving system. This engine includes a gearbox with 8 automatic speeds.
4) Fiat 500E: an electric engine with a power of 83 kW.
This is a small car but its engine is characterized by not emitting any harmful gases from it as it generates a torque of 147 pounds per foot when starting.
5) Ford Fiesta: EcoBoost engine with capacity of 1.0 liter and overhead camshaft.
6) Chevrolet Cruze Diesel: turbo diesel engine with capacity of 2.0 liters and overhead camshaft.
7) Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: engine with capacity of 6.2 liters and 8 overhead valves.
8) Honda Accord: engine consists of 6 valves with a capacity of 3.5-liter in addition to the overhead camshaft.
9) Porsche Cayman: Boxer engine has an overhead camshaft with a capacity of 2.7 liters.
10) Volkswagen Jetta: this car’s engine is provided by a turbo charger with capacity of 1.8-liter. This engine consists of 4 cylinders.
This engine has been chosen where it has a stunning acceleration and very economical in fuel’s consumption as it goes to 30 miles per gallon during the normal driving.
