{"id":3966,"date":"2013-12-29T23:49:26","date_gmt":"2013-12-29T23:49:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sellanycar.com\/cars-related\/?p=3966"},"modified":"2013-12-31T11:07:47","modified_gmt":"2013-12-31T11:07:47","slug":"internet-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sellanycar.com\/guides\/internet-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Internet in Your Car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>German automaker BMW said on Wednesday it is now offering in-car-technology with its BMW 7 Series that will allow full internet access from the dashboard display of its flagship model.<\/strong>In doing so it also claimed to be the world\u2019s first automaker to provide such a service.<\/p>\n<p>Offered through the BMW ConnectedDrive communications service, BMW Online gives passengers the option to surf the internet while travelling.<\/p>\n<p>The internet is viewed on the central display in the instrument panel or on the rear passenger DVD display screens and navigated using the iDrive controller.<\/p>\n<p>Rear seat passengers can browse websites and access their e-mails at any time.
