Abu Dhabi Company for racing united with the National Health Insurance Company (guarantee) to establish an Academy the professional driving which is specialized in refining the Emirati young talents and preparing them for participating in the professional motor sports.
\nIt is called the \u201cGuarantee Speed Academy\u201d and will begin the first group which consisting of seven youth citizens training program of eight months at the Yas Marina ring, the Academy aims to create a new generation of motorists that able to compete in the various categories of motor sport world. The awards box will be organized to provide the necessary support for the drivers to compete in order to gain experience and develop their leadership on an ongoing basis. The goal of the academy in the long term is to provide the first driver to compete in the AED Formula 1 racing which is a great incentive and inspiration for young Emiratis.
\nIt was the disclosure of the general concept of the Academy and its future during a press conference in which Khaled Al Qubaisi, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Company for racing and Dr. Sven Ruhta, Chief Executive Officer of the company’s business operations in the National Health Insurance \u201cguarantee\u201d have spoken.
\nAl Qubaisi said: “The main objective is to provide the highest levels of training for young Emiratis and work to develop their leadership skills and prepare them for professional motor sport”. He added: “Through this process, we will refine and rehabilitation of drivers to become ambassadors for motor sports in the country and a role model for other young people”.
\nThe first group of young Emirati participants in the \u201cGuarantee Speed Academy\u201d was chosen from 40 candidates aged between 13-17 years who were originally selected based on their scores on tests of karting in the UAE during the past two years. They have been interviewed before the selection of the best seven members between the group and for honoring them, Khaled Al Qubaisi \u2013 one of the prominent Emirati professionals\u2019 racers \u2013 gave the seven drivers commemorative helmets manufactured specifically for the \u201cGuarantee Speed Academy\u201d.
